A Data Management Plan is often written at the wrong time – just before a proposal deadline or as an early project deliverable. When prepared from the beginning of a project and updated throughout the research lifecycle, it becomes a practical tool for organising and managing research data rather than an administrative burden. This webinar provides a practical introduction to Data Management Plans (DMPs) through the University’s institutional DMP template, aligned with the Horizon Europe model and suitable for both European and national funding schemes. Participants will be guided through each section of the template, with practical examples, common pitfalls, and how to adapt it to the specific needs of a research project.
